BC Housing now presents an enticing Secondary Suite Incentive Program, offering up to $40,000 to support the construction of a new affordable rental suite. Eligible Secondary Suites under this program include conventional basement suites, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), in-law apartments, cottages, or compact residential units. These suites may be connected to the main residence or be a separate structure, situated above a garage or in the backyard on the same lot.
