Make Your House Work for You

We strive to integrate universal design into every renovation because creating inclusive homes is the right thing to do, and we excel at accessibility enhancements.

In 1944, Edmund Desjardins became wheelchair-bound due to a training mishap at Sandhurst Military College in England. He relocated to British Columbia and devoted his life to enhancing accessibility for everyone. His efforts have improved the lives of many. The Building Accessibility Handbook is a testament to his legacy.

TESTIMONIAL

Hi Stephen,

Thank you once more for the excellent job. (Remodeling the bathroom to be accessibility compliant, including a level entry shower) We thoroughly enjoy that room every time we enter it. Working with your team, particularly Geoff, was a pleasure.

Best wishes,

Elizabeth Wilson

Hi Stephen,

“The new bathroom layout and level entry shower are ideal. The barrier-free design allows Gerry to shower independently. Without it, bringing him home would have been impossible due to the previous access challenges for his wheelchair. With appreciation, gratitude, and warmest regards.” — Gillian Murad and Gerry Stanford
